2008 II, 2009: a new begining

Hey gang,

I hope you all are well and good this holiday season. I would like to say thanks to all of you who are listening here on the blogspot. To the iTunes subscribers, I also extend my thanks.
I have mentioned before how appreciative I am of all the word of mouth recommendations you have given the show. The Shiny is still very grassroots (re: not funded by anyone) so all the marketing I get from you recommending the show to others is great. Thanks a ton.

Coming up in the next month we have sit downs with Andrew Bird, Mogwai, Department of Eagles, former Boom Chicago director Dave Buckman and Boom cast member Hans Holsen.

Bless,
Rob

Hey yo,
Things are steady at the Shiny podcast. We just released the Found Magazine interview (below is Andrew, Peter and Brett). May all your dreams come true.
See you next week,

The Kinks! We're working them out!

Hey y'all, let us know if you are having difficulty listening or accessing any of the podcasts. Any number of our talented tech staff will get on it post haste. Dare I say "pre" haste. That's proactivity. That's the Shiny.
Bless,
Rob

A Slice of the Shiny at two years old.

In two weeks, ASOTS will be celebrating its two year anniversary. Good work, Podcast!
Let me use this moment to thank the people whose help over the past two years have made the Shiny a great interview show.
Thanks to Becky Nelson and Alice Name for their generous and talented editing and technical support. Alan Simpson for his seeding technique. Thanks to  Jorge Lopez for his patience and IT connection. To Dr David Schmoll for the ASOTS theme. Also to correspondent Julie Nichols  and our photographer Gabriella Jurriaans. And to the kind folks at Boom Chicago who do what they do best.

In the up coming weeks, ASOTS will be posting interviews with Atomsphere, Brother Ali, Ben Folds, and We Are Scientists.

Subscribe, see you next week and thanks for listening,
Rob
